Earth Day at TLS Rohtak: Recycling, Reflection and Responsibility
Old newspapers, new sheets, and a campus-wide lesson in what sustainability actually looks like.
Earth Day at TLS Rohtak wasn't about a poster competition and a few slogans — it was a genuinely hands-on lesson in what sustainability actually looks like.
Students explored the process of paper recycling first-hand, turning old newspapers into handmade sheets that then became canvases for their own eco-messages. It's a simple activity with an outsized lesson: waste isn't the end of an object's life, it's a design choice.

The day also carried the Junior Elocution Competition and the Senior Debate Competition, both built around environmental conservation — younger students speaking about protecting the planet, older students debating the ecological issues behind it.
Earth Day at TLS Rohtak was a reminder that small, deliberate actions compound. Through creativity and collaboration, our students reaffirmed a commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future — one that doesn't end when the day does.
