Earth Day at TLS Rohtak: Show and Tell, Thumb Painting and Powerful Speeches
22nd April 2025 — “Earth is our home, let's take care of it, together.”
TLS celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April with a series of substantial activities aimed at building genuine environmental awareness, not just marking the date on a calendar. A Show and Tell session had students presenting eco-friendly items and explaining their significance in their own words.
In the Thumb Painting activity, students expressed their love for nature through art — simple, tactile, and surprisingly effective at getting younger students to engage with the theme. The clear highlight was the Elocution Competition, where participants delivered genuinely powerful speeches on environmental issues and the importance of sustainability.
