After Unit Test 2: TLS Rohtak's PTM and a Term's Worth of Joy of Giving
Feedback for parents, a plan for every child, and a clothes drive for those who need it more.
The Parent-Teacher Meeting at TLS Rohtak, conducted after Unit Test 2, gave parents a clear, current picture of where their child stood — academic progress and overall performance, laid out plainly rather than left to guesswork until the next report card.
Parents were briefed on their child's achievements, strengths, and areas that still need work. Teachers shared feedback on academic performance, classroom behaviour, and participation in activities, and offered concrete suggestions parents could act on at home rather than vague encouragement to “keep practising.” The meeting did what a good PTM is meant to do: strengthen the actual coordination between parents and teachers, not just the appearance of it.
Alongside the PTM, the school also ran its Joy of Giving initiative — collecting and donating clothes and other items to those in need. It's a small addition to the term's calendar that says something about what TLS Rohtak wants students absorbing alongside their unit test results: that a good term is also measured by what you give away, not only what you score.
