Science Day at TLS Rohtak: Robotic Hands, Balloon Cars and Turmeric Magic
10th July 2025 — a day dedicated to curiosity, in Dr. Kalam's honour.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's words — “Science is a beautiful gift to humanity, we should not distort it” — set the tone for Science Day at TLS Rohtak on Thursday, 10th July 2025. The day was built around one goal: nurturing a genuine love for science, not just covering the syllabus.
Class-wise activities let students interact with scientific concepts in ways that were fun, hands-on, and actually memorable. The Turmeric and Soap Magic experiment had students genuinely fascinated by simple chemistry, a fully functional Robotic Hand showed what mechanics and electronics can build together, and a balloon-powered car turned Newton's Third Law from a textbook line into something students could watch happen in front of them.
“Science is a beautiful gift to humanity — we should not distort it.”
It was a day filled with discovery and innovation — the kind of hands-on science that sticks with a student far longer than a diagram ever could, and celebrates exactly the curiosity that powers young minds.
